VPER KIT with TX2 is a purpose-built forensic field kit that contains a complete array of hardware solutions to preview, collect, and process digital evidence. Each VPER includes a powerful forensic workstation in our FRED-L laptop, UltraBay 4P forensic write blocker (SATA, SAS, USB, PCIe, FireWire, and IDE), the versatility and processing power of TX2 forensic imager, and all the cables, adapters, and extras needed to triage, image, and analyze anywhere in the world. Whether in the field or in the office, VPER KIT equips examiners with a digital forensic lab in a portable case.
FRED-L: A Portable Powerhouse
Our latest FRED-L is built on the newest Intel® Core Ultra 9 CPU series and Intel HM870 Chipset. Base systems offer up to five storage locations, including three (3) internal 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSDs (OS, Cache, Temp, Case/Evidence), with options to upgrade, and one (1) external 3.5" 4 TB SATA HDD in our USB 3.2 RO/RW switchable hard drive enclosure. Thunderbolt 5, USB 3.2, and dual 10 GbE network connections minimize data transfer speeds, while 64 GB PC5-44800 DDR5 RAM (configurable up to 128 GB) and dedicated NVIDIA® GPU support the demands of modern forensic software.
UltraBay 4 Portable: All-in-One Forensic Acquisition
UltraBay 4 Portable is an integrated, high-performance combination write blocker with forensic imaging support for SATA, SAS, USB, PCIe, FireWire, and IDE devices. Included with UltraBay 4P is the Digital Intelligence® Forensic Card Reader (RW/RO-switchable), power supply, required power/signal cable, and an extensive set of drive adapters.
