The following information applies to both systems that shipped before March of 2018, prior to Windows 10 being installed and newer systems that Microsoft has updated the AsMedia USB3.0 eXtensible Host Controller.

Some customers experience problems with USB3 after a Windows 10 upgrade or update on older systems. This will be evident by the HotSwap bays and/or UltraBay not being detected by Windows, even though USB3 devices in Device Manager appear to be operational. In newer systems the problem represents itself with unreliable or poor performing front USB3 port connections.

The USB3 driver that we've seen the most success in fixing these problem is at https://digitalintelligence.com/files/USB3_AsMedia_Win10_64_VER116291.zip.
