	NVMe M.2 Solid State Drives Now Standard on FRED Systems New Berlin, WI, July 25, 2018 Effective Q2 2018, all FRED, FREDDIE, microFRED, FRED-L and FRED-RM systems ship with two (2) NVMe M.2 solid state drive slots. One slot is used as the operating system (OS) drive. The second NVMe M.2 slot is open and available for use. This configuration change adds drive capacity and improves FRED system responsiveness.
