FRED system customers seeking maximum data transfer (I/O) speeds in single or dual RAID system have a new option to consider: the PCIe connected M.2 NVMe Gen 4.0 hardware RAID adapter.  The features and performance of this RAID option are exceptional:

• Holds up to 6 M.2 NVMe SSDs per adapter
  
• Supports PCIe 4.0 x 8 lanes with a maximum bandwidth of up to 128 Gb/s
• Directly connects to FRED motherboard internal to workstation chassis
  
• Supports RAID levels 0, 1, 10, 3, 5, 6, single disk and JBOD
  
• May be used in combination with certain FRED "1R" or "2R" configurations
• Available on FRED Intel (i9 and X) and AMD platforms
